Abbreviations

Many common words are shortened using abbreviations and misspellings. Messages can be shortened in a similar way to how people sometimes shorten text messages. For example, the message "Are you okay?" would be signalled as "R U OK". Other times, words are signalled by repeating a letter 3 times. For example, "Going" becomes "GGG", "Coming" becomes "CCC", "Repeat" becomes "RRR", and "Never mind" becomes "NNN". Lastly, for some special situations you can just signal the first letter of each word. For example, "Found Boy" becomes "F B", "First Aid" becomes "F A", and "Coast Guard" becomes "C G". There are a lot of abbreviations to keep track of, so here is a table with many of the common ones.
