Down Messages

Different parts of the beach looks similar in most places to people visiting, so when it is busy it is common for children to get lost. If you see a child that looks like they are lost or if someone brings a child to your stand, you keep them with you until the parents are found. If a parent comes to you looking for their child, you keep them with you until another guard finds the child. The los boy message format is used to communicate the details of the missing / found child. The general format without abbreviations is as follows: [Lost/Found] [Boy/Girl] [on/from] [location] name [their name] age [their age] suit-color [their suit color] This message is very long, so special abbreviations are used. Many of the words are shortened to just their first letter. The update format is [l/f] [b/g] [on/from] [location] n [their name] a [their age] *trunks* [their suit color]. Instead of spellinig out trunks, use the trunks signal shown in the special signals section of this page. Within this message, the first word is very important. It is either lost or found. Lost indicates that you have the parent with you at your stand, and that the child is missing. Found indicates that you have the child with you, and the the parents are nowhere to be seen. These messages are some of the most difficult to read, as the names may be new to you and it is a lot to keep track of.
