Special Signals
Some extremely common or important words are shortened using special signals. For example, instead of spelling out Y-E-S to make the word yes, the sender just does arm circles. This is faster and easier to read. Words with special signals are shown below. Click each guard to check them off.
Yes
Yes is signalled by doing inward arm circles. No is just signalled by spelling N O.
Turn
Turn is signalled by spelling out T-U-R-N, but not stopping at each letter. This signal replaces TURN in other words as well, such as reTURN.
Here
Here is signalled by starting with an H and rolling your arms into an E. This signal is used whenever HERE is present in a word, such as wHERE or tHERE.
Here
This second version of here is just pointing to where you are standing. It just means "right here".
Thanks
Spelling out the word thanks produces a motion very similar to the signal below. You do counterclockwise rotations with both arms and end by holding the letter S.
Down
Down is signalled by starting with a D and rolling your arms into an N.
Trunks
Trunks is signalled by pointing to your suit with the bottom of your flags.
Multicolored
Multicolored is signalled by rolling your arms near your suit.
Question Mark
If your message is a question, you can choose to add this signal if you want.
Laughing
This signal kind resembles what your right arm would look like spelling H-A-H-A, so this is the signal for laughter.
